Earn up to 1.35 CEUs (13.5 contact hours) by attending in-person sessions.

Full-conference registrants also receive complimentary access to APTA CSM On Demand. Complete three eligible recorded sessions (0.45 CEUs or 4.5 contact hours) to reach a combined total of up to 1.8 CEUs (18 contact hours).

The number of CEUs/contact hours/CCUs for each educational session is specified on the APTA CSM program website and in the mobile app listings.

APTA's RFID badge scanning system verifies in-person attendance for educational sessions. To ensure your badge is scanned upon entrance to each session, please enter and exit through the designated doors of the session room (noted by signage and on the mobile app). If you change sessions, the last session scanned during a given time block will be the only one recorded for that time block. Attending educational sessions is required to earn available CEUs/contact hours.

Note: CEU/attendance certificates and transcripts will be available via the APTA CSM registration portal immediately after the conference. Certificates will not be available in the APTA Learning Center until June 2027.

How you claim CEUs depends on the type of session you attended. Review the information below and follow the instructions for your session type.

Where to claim: APTA CSM Certificate of Completion / Transcript Site

If you attend in-person educational sessions during APTA CSM, your attendance and CEUs are recorded and accessed through the APTA CSM Certificate of Completion/Transcript site. The site will be available following last session on Saturday, February 6, 2027.

How CEUs Are Earned

• Earn up to 1.35 CEUs (13.5 contact hours) through in-person attendance
• Attendance is verified through RFID badge scanning
• You must enter and exit the designated doors in order for your badge to be scanned by the RFID towers
• If you attend multiple sessions during the same time block, only one session may be recorded to your transcript

Accessing Your Certificate and Transcript

• Certificates and transcripts begin appearing at the conclusion of the last session  on Saturday, Feb. 6
• Records update as sessions are completed
• You may download updated certificates and transcripts during and after the conference. Do not attempt to access in-person CSM session certificates in the APTA Learning Center.

If your badge was not scanned, email Member Success with your name, registration ID, session title, date, and time.

Where to claim CEUs: APTA Learning Center

If you are attending a preconference course, CEUs are claimed in the APTA Learning Center. Attendees may access their preconference course on Feb. 4.

How CEUs Are Earned

• Pass a post-learning assessment with a score of 70% or higher
• You have three attempts to pass
• CEU values are listed in the preconference course descriptions

How to Claim Your CEUs

1. Log in to the APTA Learning Center using your APTA member email, member number, or user ID.
2. Select Dashboard, navigate to the last page to locate the preconference.
3. Open the Contents tab, select Assessment, and complete the assessment and course evaluation.
4. Select CEU Certificate and click Claim Contact Hours, to View/Print Certificate and download your preconference CEU certificate.

Note: Preconference CEUs and certificates are not available on the APTA CSM Certificate site.

How CEUs Are Earned

• APTA CSM On Demand is available March 1-April 30, 2027
• Over 300 recorded educational sessions will be available
• View the full session recording
• Complete the session evaluation
• Successfully pass the posttest for each session with a score of 70% or higher
• CSM On Demand Only attendees may earn up to 1.8 CEUs (18 contact hours/CCUs) total
• Full Conference in-person attendees may earn up to 0.45 additional CEUs (4.5 contact hours) by completing three courses through On Demand

Note: Posttests are available only to attendees with an On Demand or full in-person registration. Attendees who attended one or two days in person are not eligible to earn additional CEUs, however may submit evaluations to  receive a non-CEU attendance transcript.

Approval and CEU/Contact Hour Information

APTA courses are accepted in most states and the District of Columbia, as permitted by state regulations. Some states require preapproval. APTA secures required approvals and includes applicable approval codes on certificates of completion.

CEU/contact hour information is provided for informational purposes only. Each state determines how continuing education applies to licensure requirements. Attendees are responsible for confirming their state's rules.
